Together with our strategic partner Huadong Medicine we were attending SCC2023, The 24th South China International Congress of Cardiology in Gangzhou last week. Many participants and interest at the booth for iVAC 2L, pulsatile percutaneous ventricular assist device, for protected high-risk PCI, we showed how the device work with the support of a handson session by a beating heart model and the simulator.
Special highlight: During the congress a special academic session about Complex PCI was hosted by professors Luo Jianfang and Li Jianping. The conference invited professors Du Zhimin, Xiang Dingcheng, Xiu Jiancheng and other academic leaders. Focusing on topics such as strategies for high-risk PCI with left ventricular assist devices. antithrombotic treatment and providing rational drug selection for drug therapy without reflow during emergency PCI, Professor Sasa Borovic and Professor Milan Dobric from the prestigious Belgrade Cardiovascular Institute in Europe were invited to share the European experience on CHIP treatment and the research analysis of the post-marketing registration data of the new percutaneous left ventricular assist device iVAC 2L. To explore how iVAC 2L and other pMCS reduce the risk of complications in patients with high-risk complex PCI. Prof. Luo Jianfang also shared the first treatment experience of iVAC 2L products in Macau, China, and gave an outlook on the clinical application of iVAC 2L.
