🚀 We are thrilled to announce the first protected High-Risk PCI with the successful support of iVAC 2L performed by Drs. Hatim Al-Lawati and Dr. Khalid Al-Saidi Royal Hospital/National Heart Center in Muscat, Oman.
👨‍⚕️ Procedure: male, 62 years old, EF 20%, NYHA IV, elective procedure with a long LAD and CX calcification. First LAD was rotablated and checked with IVUS, 2 stents have been positioned after the rotablation, and CX was also treated with two stents. Patient remained very stabile during the critical part of the intervention (rotablation ) and the procedure could be performed without any problems. Overall PCI support with iVAC 2L was 73 minutes, average support of 1.2 liters per minute. ACT target around 360. Femoral artery closed with double Perclose ProGlide closure device.
