Willem P. van Lawick- Chairman, Board of Directors

Mr. Willem P. van Lawick is the founder and director of MedSciences Capital, a venture capital investor active in the field of the medical life sciences and since 2006 has been part of the Amsterdam based merchant bank Kempen & Co. Willem van Lawick holds an MD degree from Leiden University (The Netherlands) and an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau (France).


Dr. Yoram Karmon PhD- CEO & President

A creative entrepreneur with extensive experience in management at the senior level within premier biotechnology and medical device companies in Israel and Europe. Management experiences include the proven ability for effective leadership within privately held and publicly traded biotech and medical device companies, with demonstrated ability to lead highly motivated inventors and scientists to the development of commercial applications of novel ideas. Dr. Karmon was the CEO, President and Chairman of the Board of InterPharm Laboratories Ltd. (Nasdaq traded), which became the largest biotechnology company in Israel with exports of more than $US 100 million annually. Following the acquisition of InterPharm by the Ares-Serono Group, Switzerland, Dr. Karmon accepted the position of VP Operations of the group in Geneva for a few years before he returned to Israel to found Peptor Ltd. Dr. Karmon has raised more than US $90 million for companies under management and created exits for investors through deal making (licensing and M&A deals) with large pharmaceutical and peer companies.

Dr. Karmon holds a PhD. in Molecular Biology from The Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot, Israel, and was awarded the Haim Weizmann prize for Post Doctoral Fellowship for a postdoctoral term at the University of California in San Francisco, USA.


Oren Malchin MBA – VP Marketing & Sales

Oren Malkin joined PulseCath BV in 2008 from a Medical startup company “FlowAid” where he was VP Marketing and Sales for blood circulatory systems. In his position he headed the worldwide marketing and sales department. Before that Mr. Malkin served at “Disc-O-Tech” where he was VP Marketing and Sales for orthopedic implants for the spine and long bones. In his position he headed the marketing and sales department for Europe, South East Asia and Latin America. Mr. Malkin has more than 18 years of experience in global marketing and penetrating new technologies to the medical market worldwide.

Mr. Malkin holds both a BBA & MBA in General Management, Business Administration, Global Marketing and Economy from “Northwood” University, Michigan US.


Robert M. Prince – CFO

Bob Prince is an American who has lived and worked in Europe for most of the last 25 years. He is a CPA and had a career with Ernst & Young before joining Lanier (Harris/3M) as European CFO in Brussels.  He then held various European CFO positions for Oracle, Unisys, Getronics, BWise, and  Progress.  He is currently providing part-time CFO services to a variety of small and medium enterprises.

Mr. Prince has an in-depth understanding of the issues facing developing sales & distribution companies as they expand their business internationally.  He is more than just the numbers being a sparring partner to the Management Team and Supervisory Board on strategic issues.

Mr. Prince holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Accounting from the Middle Tennessee State University.
